Starting from Capo Vaticano passing through scenic roads, mule tracks and dirt roads, we will make you discover our wild and beautiful hinterland, rich in history and traditions; you will see ancient Saracen watchtowers such as the Marrana Tower, water mills, small villages overlooking the sea, the mysterious stone town of Zungri, the beautiful town of Tropea.
TOUR 1: Torre Marrana
* Excursion suitable for everyone, it is recommended for beginners who want to become familiar with these means. *
After registration and a short informational briefing on the ‘use of the vehicle and the route, we will depart from our base camp riding our powerful quads. First we will travel on a secondary asphalt road until we reach a viewpoint that divides the coast of Capo Vaticano from that of Joppolo. After a brief stop for a few photos we will climb Mount Poro to the small village of Coccorino and then introduce ourselves on ancient dirt paths through the Ricadi countryside to arrive at the Saracen watchtower “Torre Marrana” in the small hamlet of Brivadi.
Here we will be able to enjoy a breathtaking panorama from the hills of Brattirò to the Aeolian Islands; a beautiful amphitheater will be the backdrop where a theatrical event “theatrical sightings” takes place every summer. After a short stop to admire the view and stretch our legs, we will depart for the return to base camp passing through picturesque small roads.

TOUR 2: Capo Vaticano
*More challenging excursion, recommended for those with a minimum of familiarity with these vehicles and off-road. * After registration and a brief informational briefing on the ‘use of the vehicle and the route, we will depart from our base camp in Capo Vaticano riding our powerful ATVs for this exciting ATV excursion. First we will travel on a secondary paved road until we arrive at a viewpoint that divides the Capo Vaticano and Joppolo coasts. After a brief stop for a few photos we will climb Mount Poro to the top where we can admire a spectacular panorama ranging from the Coast of the Gods, Costa Viola, Sicily and the Aeolian Islands. We will cross a pine forest overlooking the sea and then enter the paths of Mount Poro until we descend to the valley. We will visit the hamlet of Lampazzone small village in the municipality of Ricadi – Capo Vaticano, where, after a ride through the countryside we will descend into the Ruffa Valley.
Last stop is the ancient Saracen watchtower “Torre Marrana” from which we will witness a breathtaking view that goes’ from the Ruffa valley to the Aeolian islands and where there is an impressive amphitheater and a museum.
After a short stop to admire the view and take some photos we will depart for the return to base camp passing through suggestive little roads that run along the crystal clear sea of Capo Vaticano.

To ride an ATV you must be over 18 years old and have an A or B license, which must be shown at the beginning of the tour.
Each ATV can carry one passenger in addition to the driver.
The minimum age limit for any passenger is 12 years.
After signing the liability waiver, there will be a short briefing. All excursions will be supervised by a guide who will have the right to terminate the excursion if he/she finds a potentially dangerous situation due to rider inexperience and/or irresponsibility.
Routes may include dirt tracks and rough areas.
With us, children have the opportunity to connect with nature while exploring and having fun. All along the trail, the pace will be at a walking pace and there will be no running, overtaking or unauthorized maneuvering.
Weather conditions.
The ATV excursion can take place in almost all weather conditions.
However, the excursion may be cancelled if the weather conditions are not conducive to an adequate and safe experience.
