Villa Paola

The Villa is a small five-star accommodation complex, the result of the renovation of an old convent.

The structure dates back to 1543. Legend has it that St. Francis of Paola on his journey to Sicily asked the noble families of Tropea to build a convent and church for his minimum friars in this magical place.

The transformation into a hotel structure went through a work of cleaning up the superfetations suffered by the building in the last 2 centuries. The purpose of the recovery was to restore strength to the ancient patio around which the spaces of the Hotel are articulated.

The villa as a whole consists of a continuous alternation of gardens on several levels with English lawns, spectacular plants, with a centuries-old Maritime Pine majestic on the outdoor terrace bordering the front of the building toward the sea with palm trees and ornamental greenery.

The exclusivity of an infinity pool overlooking the sea will immerse you in the beauty of a breathtaking panorama in which the blue of the sea mixes with the different colors of the landscape around the town of Tropea. The garden terrace is connected to the pool terrace by magnificent and elegant stone staircases, worthy of a luxury facility. Eremita Suite:
