Situated in the historical centre of Pizzo (Calabria), a lively town in an enchanting location on a cliff by the sea, you can find the small but nice, trendy and luxurious “Piccolo Grand Hotel”.

Designed by two German architects, our 4-star hotel opened in Pizzo Calabro in 2011.

This innovative seaside hotel in Pizzo Calabro, characterized by its unique design, was built with exemplary energy saving technology.

An exceptional and luxurious stay for our guests is in our heart. This is why we run our hotel with great passion and dedication.

Sustainability has greatly influenced us in planning our hotel. In this regard, we use the power of the sun to produce hot water. The rooms are managed by magnetic cards to optimize consumption; the windows are equipped with magnetic contacts that, if they are opened, block the operation of the systems themselves.

In the kitchen, induction hobs allow rapid cooking without heat loss. We use LEDs to thus reduce electricity demand throughout the hotel. For the daily commute, the electric car is also available to guests. Breakfast we offer on our terrace if the weather is nice. We also have gluten-free products on request!

The Piccolo BBB Bistrot-Bar-Beach is the ideal place to eat, drink and relax. A wonderful possibility located only 1 km from our hotel in Pizzo Calabro, directly at the sea is the beautiful place to enjoy good food, sun and drinks.

Our Boutique Hotel in Pizzo Calabro has 19 accommodations including rooms, suites and a beach apartment, each of which have been conceived with an individual design. Three of these are located in the annex near the hotel overlooking the sea so our guests can enjoy a wonderful view over the ocean. 

SUITE 60 - 90m² For our guests seeking luxury, we have four suites available. Three of them are located in the "Dependance Mare" overlooking the sea and are a four-minute walk away from the main building, the "Palazzo". The exceptional location overlooking the sea offers unforgettable sunsets and a view of the Stromboli volcano. And in case the weather isn't great, you can perfectly relax in the suite's sauna (only available in a suite). The Palazzo Suite, located on the top floor of the central building, has a panoramic view of the city and the sea. The furniture of the sleeping and living areas follows our exceptional design and leaves no room for other wishes. In addition, the suites are equipped with a kitchenette, including a Nespresso coffee machine, a large bathroom with shower and / or bathtub and a king-size bed.

JUNIOR SUITE 30 - 40m² Or do you prefer something a little more intimate than the Suites but are still looking for luxury and comfort? Then the Junior Suites located in the annex next to the Palazzo are the ideal choice for you. All Junior Suites enjoy a beautiful common terrace and are all equipped with a large bedroom with living room, a comfortable sofa and a balcony. Additional amenities include an electric kettle, a Nespresso coffee machine and a minibar.

CAMERA SUPERIOR ca. 22m² The Superior Rooms are located in the historic main building, the Palazzo, are more spacious than the Standard Rooms and are equipped with a living area with sofa or sofa bed, balcony or terrace. A minibar and a welcome tray with an electric kettle is certainly included.

CAMERA STANDARD ca. 17m² Our standard rooms, located inside the main building, are all comfortable and perfectly sized for those traveling alone or as a couple. As with all rooms of the Piccolo Grand Hotel, each single room is equipped with all necessary comforts for an unforgettable stay.

BEACH APARTMENT ca. 80m² Take a break from the everyday stress and book your vacation in one of our beachfront accommodations. Hear the sounds of the ocean, take a stroll along the beach or take a dip in the water - it's all right outside of your door. The apartment includes two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a large living room with a kitchen ideal for a family with children. Enjoy the beautiful view of the beach and the sea, together with your loved ones, from the private terrace of the apartment. The exceptional design of the rooms and the particular setting right on the sea will make your stay unforgettable. The apartment is located on the beach, just a 15 minute walk from the hotel. The minimum stay is two nights, breakfast is not included.
