La Casa di Ulisse

Right on the sea front, in the most antique part of the city and next to the Cathedral you find the apartments of Casa di Ulisse, which are facing a picturesque pier. They are part of an antique building, of which the construction dates back to the XVI century, on the ruins of an old Roman site. At 54 metres above the sea level, the apartments grant a beautiful view over the sea of Tropea.

During spring 2004 the entire building was renovated, with particular attention to maintaining the original style and beauty, making it an idyllic destination for a relaxing and stimulating break. A beautiful 17th century stairway grants access to the apartments, which are situated on various levels of the building. The apartments have been furnished with taste and simplicity, using the best materials and where possible stone, wood and tiles from the original building.
