Il Principe di Scilla

Right in the heart of the pictursque ancient village of Chianalea, the Principe di Scilla was reconstructed on the site of what once was, around 1533, the magnificent residence of the old family of De Nava. Later the buildings became the property of Zagari family and was called Scategna, which was the nickname given to the owner who had attended the “Scategna” school in Napoli.
The Principe di Scilla still retains now the charm of an ancient and noble private residence and today houses a restaurant and refined and elegant suites on the sea.

The feature platform built on the sea during the summer offers a breathtaking view of the Castle and the entire village of Chianalea, an unique opportunity to taste the delicacies of our kitchen in close contact with the sea and nature.

The Principe di Scilla, immersed in the scenery of Chianalea, ancient and picturesque fishing village, offers stylish and elegant suites overlooking the sea, furnished to maintain unchanged the charm of the ancient and noble residence.
